Donate To Safe
Your Gift helps protect
truth, dignity,
and religious freedom.
When public misunderstanding goes unanswered, real people pay the cost — students, families, professionals, communities. Your donation funds the research, resources, and response infrastructure that helps Latter-day Saints participate in public life with safety and dignity.
You don’t fund a website. You fund the response infrastructure that protects a people.
See exactly what your gift does.
Every dollar builds infrastructure that serves Latter-day Saint communities for the long term — not a campaign that ends. Here’s what your generosity makes possible:
One-Time
Document a single incident report
Funds the intake, review, and pattern-tracking work that turns one report into part of a public record.
One-Time
Equip a student or family with a rights toolkit
Helps create and distribute the plain-language guides that families use to understand their options at school, at work, and in public life.
Monthly
Sustain SAFE’s monitoring work each month
Funds ongoing research into the harmful narratives, distortions, and patterns that shape public perception of Latter-day Saints.
One-Time
Underwrite a primary-source archive entry
Supports the curation, hosting, and verification of the historical documents that anchor SAFE’s public record.
Major gift
Help launch a major SAFE initiative
Funds a flagship effort — the annual sentiment report, a media scorecard release, an interfaith roundtable, or a public-education campaign.

“For too long, the public conversation about Latter-day Saints has been shaped by caricature and shorthand. SAFE is the kind of patient, principled, evidence-based work that has been missing — not built around outrage, but around dignity.”

Frequently asked questions
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. 'GoForth Foundation' the current operator of SAFE is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. You will receive a receipt for your records upon completion of your gift.
Is SAFE affiliated with the Church?
SAFE is an independent initiative of GoForth Foundation. It is not owned, operated, or directed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Our work supports individuals and communities connected to the Church, but SAFE is not an official Church program, position, or endorsement.
How is my donation used?
Your gift directly funds the creation, hosting, and expansion of SAFE’s public infrastructure — including research, the primary-source archive, rights toolkits, the incident reporting system, story collection, fact-checking work, public response, and the staffing and operations needed to make all of it credible and sustainable over time.
Can I cancel my recurring donation?
Yes. You can cancel your monthly gift at any time with no questions asked. Simply contact us at the email below and we’ll take care of it immediately.
What does SAFE actually do with the funding?
SAFE monitors public narratives about Latter-day Saints, publishes research and reports, builds rights and reporting resources for members and families, maintains a primary-source historical archive, responds to misrepresentation in measured public ways, and develops partnerships with educators, journalists, and interfaith organizations. You can read more on the About and Research pages.
Independent, Member-Led Work
SAFE is an independent initiative of 'GoForth Foundation' dedicated to protecting the dignity, freedom, and fair treatment of Latter-day Saints in public life. We are not owned, operated, or directed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Our work is grounded in the principles of religious liberty, accurate public memory, and equal participation in civic life.
Our mission is simply to help more people find clear, accurate, and honest information about Latter-day Saints — and to defend the dignity of those who carry the faith publicly.
